With a max of 24 players battling it out online and a system of bonus streaks that focus on team work instead of individual effort, the multiplayer shines out as Medal of Honors crowning glory. Medal of Honor had some very good idea’s, but instead delivered us a quick 5 hour story, that even the most casual of players could complete without any effort at all, that will leave most core players or fans of the series feeling very disappointed.Īll is not lost though although the single player may be a bit of a flop, the multiplayer will really brighten your day. The game itself plays like a carbon copy of Bad Company 2, you find yourself waiting for Sweetwater to pop up and drop some funny lines. It may be slightly edgy in as much as covering current affairs, but this was all let down by a lack of ingenuity. The attention to detail rings through in the weaponry, all of these real life current combat weapons are superbly recreated all the way down to the scratches and scuff’s.Įvery bang, boom and crash is heard and very true to the real thing, there’s no need to add the amazing soundtrack when you’re surrounded by the sound of real battle, but when it does kick in it simply throws the action into overdrive. The cut scenes and huge battle set pieces are all a joy even just to watch. This makes the game lack an original look or feel and leaves it feeling like an older title. The only down side to all this is that it looks exactly like Battlefield Bad Company 2, the way you run, walk, shoot and even use your knife.
